My name is Sebastian Vuye.
A young camera operator and director of photography looking for interesting and challenging opportunities to gain experience and knowledge of his field.
He utilizes his skills acquired during the 3-year program at the Belgian filmschool – Narafi. Also, he wants to improve his skills helping out on diverse film and television sets.
Previously he has directed and shot several award winning short films. He has worked with the camera department on projects for clients such as Woestijnvis, Miss Fashion, Geronimo and Exxon.
In 2015 his short ‘I Have a Rendezvous with Death’ got selected as one of the nine shorts during the Future Talent’s Awards in Ghent, Belgium.
Besides being an aspiring director of photography he also runs a production company in Antwerp, Belgium with his long term friends and working partners at Western Spaghetti’s. As one of the founders, he runs the company and is involved with a diverse range of interesting projects.
Sebastian grew up loving cinema. At a very young age he got fascinated in crafting beautiful and meaningful images in service of telling great stories. He loves photography and uses his spare time to capture the beauty of the world.
